Classrooms
Six 70- seater classrooms and one 25- seater classroom were developed with necessary furniture installed.
The Department is equipped with 14 faculty rooms, 7 classrooms, 7 laboratories, 2 SIEMENS Centre of Excellence labs, 1 scope room and 2 Seminar halls. The Department has excellent computing facility and is networked through LAN & WIFI with an internet facility of 100 Mbps bandwidth. The Department has installed roof top solar panels for supply of power to the Department and excess power to the grid.

Electrical Machines & Power Systems Lab
The Electrical Machines & Power Systems Laboratory is well equipped with different number of motors and generators for UG & PG students for conducting various experiments.

Reliability Tools Lab
The Reliability tools lab has been setup, so that the students can perform software based experiments and programming. The laboratory is equipped with 30 all in one desktop systems with a LAN of 100 Mbps bandwidth. Five of the systems have been installed with latest licensed PSIM software with a cost of Rs. 14,93,415/- purchased under TEQIP – III. The whole systems are backed up with inverter for continuous power supply.
Simulation Lab
The computer laboratory has been setup, so that the students can perform software based experiments and programming. The laboratory is equipped with 60 all in one desktop systems connected to a single server and with a LAN of 100 Mbps bandwidth. The whole systems are backed up with inverter for continuous power supply.
SIEMENS Centre of Excellence Labs
Two SIEMENS Centre of Excellence Labs where established in the year 2017 in collaboration with Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) with an approximate cost of 100 Crore. The two labs Electrical & Energy studies lab and Process Instrumentation lab are equipped with projectors with screens, latest systems and advanced industrial equipment’s. The main aim of the SIEMENS labs is to provide opportunities for the students in industries and to enhance their technical skills.

Seminar halls
The Department is provided with 2 seminars halls, 1 with 150 seating capacity used for conducting various meetings, workshops/FDPs equipped with one projector with screen and an audio system. The other seminar hall having 30 seating capacity used to conduct Department meetings & M. Tech./Ph.D. viva-voce equipped with LCD screen with webcam.
Solar Panels
The Department is equipped with a60 KwHphotovoltaic power plant which is connected to the grid by the use of net metering.
