Central Library

Introduction of the Library

The Central Library supports the teaching and research programs of the Institute, providing facilities for general reading and disseminating information according to user requirements. It is housed in a separate building with a carpet area of 3345 Sq.M, and reading space of 504.68 Sq.M. The library contains around 59,537 books, back volumes of technical journals, technical pamphlets, standards, CD-ROMs, and DVDs. Online journals and access to e-journal databases are available via a 1 Gbps Internet bandwidth. All e-resources are accessible in the Digital Library. The entire library acquisition database is managed using KOHA software.

Working Hours

The library remains open throughout the year, except for six holidays (three national and three festival holidays).
