Principal

JNTUA College of Engineering, Anantapur is renowned for the outstanding holistic education that we provide. As a College we have a strong focus on student academic progress and achievement and continuation to University is the chosen route for the significant majority. The College offers six undergraduate courses in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering and Chemical Engineering. The college offers a number of M.Tech. programs in these disciplines and also MCA programme. The college also provides facilities for Doctoral programs in all the departments. I extend my best wishes to all the students in reaching their objectives and goals that lead to success in their career path.

Prof. K. GovindaRajulu is a recipient of “ Best Teacher Award “ from the Government of Andhra Pradesh in the year 2012. He has started his career as Assistant Professor in the faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad in the year 1985, and he has worked in its constituent colleges, viz., JNTU College of Engineering, Anantapur, JNTU College of Engineering, Hyderabad, JNTUACollege of Engineering, Pulivendula and in JNT University Hyderabad. Presently, he is Principal & Professor of Mechanical Engineering , JNTUA College of Engineering, Ananatapur. He proved his abilities and got promoted as Associate Professor in the year 1994 and as Professor in the year 2000. He has taught 19 subjects to undergraduate and postgraduate students and in addition he has served the university in various administrative capacities at the college and university levels. He has developed the laboratories/work shop as laboratory in-charge / workshop superintendent. As workshop superintendent he has implemented a novel scheme “ Earn while you learn', which benefitted several students academically and financially.
